Visitors at Russian Jack Springs Park in Anchorage may notice something new during their next trip.

The Anchorage Park Foundation says multilingual signage has been installed throughout the park as part of an effort to make the space more accessible and welcoming to the city’s diverse community.

The project includes 24 signs, each featuring a different language. The signs provide information about the park, local wildlife, and children’s activities.

Officials say the effort is designed to help more visitors understand and enjoy the park’s resources, while reflecting the variety of languages spoken in Anchorage.
