We know that “home” is not just the building where we live, but also the community that surrounds and supports us, and that everyone deserves equitable access to opportunity.
Communities are strongest when residents and local leaders are empowered to shape their own neighborhoods. When people have the tools and support to lead, communities become more resilient.
Community engagement brings neighbors together to listen, collaborate, and take collective action. At NeighborWorks Alaska, our goal is to support residents in creating safer, more connected, and vibrant communities — guided by the voices and priorities of those who live there.
